The new service is scheduled to take off on August 15. Cathay Pacific will operate additional three flights from Dubai to Munich, departing three times a week on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the flight will leave Munich accordingly on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Munich is the second largest hub in Germany. With the cargo market forecast to pick up in August, the new service will provide more choice and additional capacity for customers on top of the airlines« current services to and from Frankfurt.
Cathay Pacific Country Manager for the UAE and Oman Navin Chellaram said: "Cathay Pacific is delighted to offer this new international service to Munich. The new service hopes to further strengthen Cathay Pacific's European network and provide more choice for our local customers-a statement of our unwavering commitment." Munich will be Cathay Pacific's 8th European direct destination for freighter operations.
