Founding Oneworld member, British Airways, the UK’s flagship carrier that operates weven weekly flights from Muscat to London Heathrow, is marking the anniversary with a new 46-foot long livery on the fuselage of its aircraft.

John McCulloch Oneworld managing partner, said, “Our commitment to Oneworld and its focus on quality rather than quantity will increase the strength of our alliance and deepen our determination to innovate and improve our products and services now and in the future.”

He said, “The results from Oneworld’s first decade makes abundantly clear the growing value the alliance has created for all its key stakeholders.

“As we enter our second decade, the alliance’s strategy remains the same — focusing on the quality rather than quantity of our member airlines and on adding value for our customers and shareholders,” he said.

The new livery took off for the first time on a British Airways Boeing 747 bound for Tokyo earlier this week. Up to 40 aircraft flying around the world, all belonging to members of the alliance, will feature the exciting new design.
