UAE introduces first drone regulation for unmanned air navigation companies

Air navigation service providers for unmanned aircraft within UAE's airspace will have to follow national regulation introduced for certification of these entities.
The country's General Civil Aviation Authority introduced the region's first national regulation of this kind, known as CAR Airspace Part Uspace.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Interior announced a partial lift of the ban on individual drone use; however, this measure did not extend to Dubai.
Recreational users are also required to follow certain conditions such as registering through the UAE Drones app, and those who wish to operate a drone must obtain a training certificate from a GCAA-accredited services.
