UAE travel: IndiGo announces daily flights from Fujairah to Mumbai, Kannur

Fujairah International Airport announced a new partnership with IndiGo, India's budget carrier, to launch two direct daily flights to Mumbai and Kannur, starting from May 15.

This addition comes at a time when Mumbai and Kannur are witnessing increased demand from residents and tourists alike.

Fujairah is IndiGo's 41st international destination and our fifth in the UAE, alongside Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

This new partnership strengthens ties between Fujairah and India, opening up new horizons for travellers through diverse travel options at competitive prices, as well as easy access to new destinations.

"This partnership reflects our commitment to providing more travel options for passengers and enhancing connectivity with vital destinations in India," captain Ismail Mohammed Al Balooshi, General Manager of Fujairah International Airport, said.

"We hope this move will contribute to consolidating Fujairah's position as a preferred gateway for travelers from the region and the world, in addition to its role in supporting local tourism," he added.
