After a series of cutting remarks attacking the Centre for their assistance during Jet Airways financial woes,  absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya urged the banks to take his money and save Jet Airways.

In a series of tweets, he pointed out that the Bharatiya Janata party-led National Democratic Alliance government did nothing for him to save his now defunct Kingfisher Airlines.
Naresh Goyal writes emotional farewell letter to Jet Airways employees
"I invested over 4000 crores into Kingfisher Airlines to save the Company and its employees. Not recognised and instead slammed in every possible way. The same PSU Banks let India's finest airline with the best employees and connectivity fail ruthlessly. Double standards under NDA," Vijay Mallya tweeted on Tuesday.
The controversial businessman is now contesting India's extradition bid in UK courts.
Mallya, 63, was declared as Fugitive Economic Offender under the FEO Act by special judge on January 5.
