Pakistan extends airspace ban for Indian aircraft until January 2026

Pakistan and India first closed their airspaces to each other after the Pahalgam attack in April in which 26 were killed

Pakistan on Wednesday extended its airspace ban for Indian aircraft by another month, according to a 'notice to all airmen' (Notam) by the Pakistan Airports Authority.

The ban will be in place until January 23, 2026.

Pakistan and India first closed their airspaces to each other after the Pahalgam attack in April in which 26 were killed. Since then, the countries have extended the airspace ban multiple times.

According to PTI, the previous extension was set to expire on December 24 before the new announcement.
