Your trips to India could cost you more as air tickets are bound to get costlier from March.
Prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) or jet fuel will be increased by 10 per cent in March, making flying costlier, industry observers told The Times of India
What will also make the flights expensive is the wedding season. With destination weddings mostly lined up for February and March, the flights are fully booked. The huge demand will also, in turn, increase flight prices.
Sanjay Kumar, an industry veteran, took to Twitter to share his views. "ATF prices are up again by 10 per cent effective midnight today. Not good for already struggling industry," he posted.

In recent times, Jet Airways has grounded 19 aircraft in one month due to financial constraints. IndiGO, on the other hand, has curtailed flight operations till April because of a pilot shortage, Times Now reported. All these will lead to limited seats and costlier tickets.
