Emirates will introduce its first long-range Airbus A350, with Australia's Adelaide becoming the first destination to receive the new aircraft. Starting December 1, 2025, flights EK440/441 will operate with the Airbus A350-900ULR, capable of flying over 15 hours non-stop with a range exceeding 14,000 km.
"Deploying our first long-range A350 to Adelaide is an exciting development and underscores the importance of Australia as a major eastbound anchor in our network. It also represents our commitment to delivering the best possible long-haul experience on our latest generation aircraft," noted Adnan Kazim, Emirates' deputy president and chief commercial officer.
Emirates is also expanding its fleet of upgraded aircraft, with newly refurbished Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s set to serve eight more cities in the coming months. This expansion is part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to offering customers a consistent, world-class onboard experience across its network.

Emirates plans to deploy its latest Airbus A380s across these key destinations:
Bangkok: Emirates flights EK372/373 will feature the refreshed A380 from July 1.
Hong Kong: Flights EK380/381 will operate with the upgraded A380 from October 1, complementing newly introduced retrofitted Boeing 777 services this summer.

Perth: The latest-generation A380 will serve flights EK420/421 from October 26.
Meanwhile, the airline will deploy its upgraded Boeing 777s across the following destinations:
Madrid: EK143/144 will operate with the upgraded Boeing 777 interiors from October 15, making Madrid the first Spanish city to feature Emirates’ next-generation cabins.
Kuala Lumpur: Flights EK346/347 will be operated by retrofitted Boeing 777s starting October 15.
Frankfurt: Germany will welcome the upgraded Emirates Boeing 777 on daily flights EK043/044 from December 15.

Dublin: Emirates will add a second retrofitted Boeing 777 to its Dublin route from December 1.
Adnan Kazim said the latest rollout offers customers in over 70 dynamic cities access to the airline’s latest-generation premium onboard experience.

"The redoubling of our refurbishment programme efforts means that by the end of this year, Emirates will have established itself as one of the preeminent industry leaders offering Premium Economy seats," Adnan said.
"In the next two years, we will definitively cement our position as the industry leader in Premium Economy deployment. The scaling up of our Premium Economy offering strengthens our competitive proposition to travellers and makes it our strategic differentiator by offering them more choice as they increasingly seek premium travel experience," he added.
By the end of 2025, Emirates expects to receive 5 A350 aircraft earmarked to serve long-haul missions, featuring 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 seats in Premium Economy, and 238 generously pitched Economy Class seats.
