Emirates Group on Thursday announced bonus to its employees following a record profit.
The bonus is equivalent to 22 weeks of salary, which will be received by the employees in the month of May, according to an email sent out to its employees on Thursday. The group has also rewarded its employees in previous years after strong results.
In an email seen by Khaleej Times, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group congratulate the group and said “2024-25 was an incredible year, ending with a financial report card which will live long in our collective memory.”

“For your extraordinary passion, for being the best in the business, and for your stellar role in delivering our record financial results, I declare a profit share of 22 weeks, which you will receive with your May salary,” he added.
Last year, the Emirates Group awarded its employees a bonus worth 20 weeks of their salary. Those working with the group received the payout with their May salary.
The Group also announced a 24-week bonus to employees soon after it announced its 2022-23 results in May.
For employees working in the emirate, the Dubai-headquartered Group also awarded a five per cent hike in basic salary and increase accommodation and transport allowances. According to an email sent to its employees, starting September 2023, the company offered a 10 per cent increase in education support allowance.
In his email to Emirates Group employees, Sheikh Ahmed said: “Emirates is now the world’s most profitable airline, and the Emirates Group is the most profitable aviation group in the 2024-25 reporting period. dnata too had an extraordinary year, and our robust results include record profit before tax and record revenue.
“These are achievements we can all be immensely proud of. They’re hardly surprising, however, as we have the most talented, savvy, committed, and brand proud people in the world – you. Thank you for making us stronger and more successful every year,” he added.
For 2025-2026, Emirates will strengthen its network connectivity with the expected delivery of 16 A350s and 4 Boeing 777 freighters.
“While some markets are jittery about trade and travel restrictions, volatility is not new in our industry. We simply adapt and navigate around these challenges,” said Sheikh Ahmed, adding: “Our retrofit programme will continue apace to provide our customers the latest Emirates products and a more consistent experience across our A380, 777 and A350 fleet.”
“Work is already underway at the new Al Maktoum International airport (DWC) and broader development around Dubai South. Our planning teams are working closely with Dubai airports and other entities to design and deliver the future of aviation and the best possible travel experiences,” he continued.
