With just weeks away for the third edition of the Dubai Motor Festival (DMF), its showpiece event, the Dubai Grand Parade, one of the most popular motoring pageants in the world, is gearing up to showcase Dubai's motoring passion in all its forms.
DMF 2015 will be held from November 10 to 21 under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, with the Grand Parade taking place on November 21.
As excitement mounts within the motoring community, DMF organisers, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) have announced that registration is open for the Dubai Grand Parade, a spectacular annual showcase of the widest collection of vintage, luxury and supercars and motorcycles in the UAE and region.
Registration is also open for two other competitions that will be held for the first time in the region - the Dubai Motor Festival Marques d'Elegance and the Best Decorated National Day Car - to complement the Dubai Grand Parade and further enhance the motoring experiences for festival visitors. A special committee of motoring experts will be appointed to judge the two competitions and winners will be offered fabulous prizes.
The Dubai Motor Festival Marques D'Elegance gives car owners from the GCC an the opportunity to showcase their prized or unique motor vehicle that is also worthy of being a part of the region's largest motoring spectacle, the Dubai Grand Parade, while the Best Decorated National Day Car competition will give participants the opportunity to show their national pride and love for the UAE by decorating their cars in a highly creative way inspired by the National Day.
Those wishing to participate in the Dubai Grand Parade, the Dubai Motor Festival Marques d'Elegance and the Best Decorated National Day Car competitions can register by visiting http://dmfreg.visitdubai.com/and filling out an online application form.
The one-of-a-kind DMF 2015 will further cement Dubai's position as a hub for world-class events and festivals. The citywide celebration of motoring passion is set to enthrall families and tourists from around the world with unique motoring experiences created around its 2015 tagline 'Feel The Rush'.
