American Airlines relocates area manager
DUBAI — American Airlines has relocated its Area Manager, Middle East & Pakistan, Amer Khan, to its office in Dubai, where he will be responsible for driving American's business in the region.
Amer has held the position of Area Manager, Middle East since 2001 when he joined American Airlines. He was previously based at the airline's Europe and Pacific headquarters in London.
Commenting on the appointment, Maria Sebastian, American's Managing Director Sales, Marketing and Reservations Europe, Middle East and Africa said, "We have seen a rapid growth in revenue in the Gulf region, particularly in the corporate market. By relocating Amer to Dubai he will be better placed to leverage our activity by working closely with our General Sales Agents to position American as a key player in the market."
