Alshaya Trading opens first outlet in Mideast

DUBAI - Britain's most stylish bedrooms, And So To Bed has opened its first store in the Middle East and outside the UK in Dubai in partnership with the Alshaya Trading Company.

The outlet located opposite the BurJuman Mall in the Bank Street is around 5,000 square feet in size and the biggest store the company has yet opened.

The store will offer around 28 different types of wooden and metal-framed beds in traditional and contemporary styles, together with bedroom furniture and a full range of accessories. The collections of beds are named after famous poets, authors, musicians and artists.

Ayman Alshaya, chief executive officer of Alshaya Trading Company, said: "We are very proud to be bringing such a unique, quality company to the region for the very first time. And So To Bed offers a wonderful range of bedrooms for the discerning customer in search of the very highest quality and unique handcrafted designs."

The beds are named after Byron, Bronte and Tennyson and also in the name of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. The Beds are made from a range of woods, metal or leather. And So To Bed will introduce two to three new collections a year that will include an additional six to eight additional bed designs.
