Al Ghurair re-elected Chamber Chairman

DUBAI — Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was re-elected to the top position by the board of directors of the chamber, which also elected two vice chairmen and Executive Committee members during their election meeting held on Tuesday.

Five new members of the board were also appointed under Decree No. (15) issued on October 5 by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The meeting, chaired by Rashid Humaid Al Mazroui, member of the Executive Committee, re-elected Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, as Chairman, Majed Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi, First Vice-Chairman, Hisham Abdullah Al Shirawi, Second Vice-Chairman, Abdul Jalil Yousuf Darwish, Treasurer and Helal Saeed Al Marri, Vice-Treasurer while Rashid Humaid Al Mazroui and Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg retained their positions as members of the Executive Committee.

According to the decree, the newly-appointed members are Issa Abdullah Al Ghurair, Yahya Saeed Lootah, Dr. Ahmed Saif Belhasa, Ali Abdullah Al Shafar and Abdullah bin Said bin Juma Al Naboodah.
