Air Arabia names new official
SHARJAH - Air Arabia LLC, the third national airline of UAE and the first low cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa region, has announced the appointment of Donald Hubbard as director of finance. Hubbard will be responsible for the overall financial and IT management of Air Arabia as well as its fare structure.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has more than 20 years of experience in international finance and prior to this he has worked in a broad range of organisations like ZSR limited, Deloitte and Touche, Hong Kong Telecom Ltd to name a few. Adel Ali, chief executive officer of Air Arabia, said: "The director of finance is a key player in designing, implementing and operating our distinctive fare structure; our goal is to provide economical and competitive fares that will stimulate the travel industry in the region."
Al Arabiya's inaugural flight is scheduled by the end of this month.
