The promotional fares are offered for one-way trips from Sharjah to key Air Arabia destinations and vice versa excluding taxes. Prices range from Dh89 to Bahrain, Doha, and Muscat, Dh149 to Assiut and Beirut, Dh209 to Khartoum, Kuwait and Colombo and finally Dh229 to Aleppo, Alexandria and Damascus.

A.K. Nizar, Air Arabia’s head of sales, said: “Following the model of a low-cost airline and how it operates, fares are linked to follow market supply and demand; simply, as seats are sold on flights, fares increase. Thus, the earlier a passenger books, the more likely it is that they will pay the lowest available or ‘starting’ fare. This is just one of Air Arabia’s regular initiatives to offer the lowest fares and increase travel throughout the region — ultimately bringing people closer together,” concluded Nizar.

Air Arabia was launched last year and has expanded within this one year.
