"Our Middle East first half-year revenues grew by a phenomenal 70 per cent and this would not have been possible without the support of our customers and partners across the region," said Jacob Alex, Middle East channel manager, Adobe.

He said the company has launched a number of attractive software offers as well as excellent upgrade options. Until July 31, Adobe is offering a 15 per cent discount on all localised volume licensing solutions across the GCC. Within this time frame, customers placing orders will receive a free upgrade to the respective Adobe CS3 Middle East -enabled products.

The special offer includes Adobe's Acrobat 8 Standard and Professional licences, Creative Suite 2.0 Standard, Creative Suite 2.3 Premium licences, all point products of CS2 ME licences — Photoshop CS2 ME, Illustrator CS2 ME, InDesign CS2 ME, InCopy CS2 ME, all ME Upgrade licences, ME Education licence, ME Government licence and ME Corporate licence.

"With piracy continuing to be a serious problem, we are trying to educate consumers about the repercussions of using unauthorised software. These deals will further encourage our customers to use legitimate solutions," Alex said.
