Adnoc says operations continue despite regional developments
Adnoc has activated its well-established protocols and is working closely with relevant authorities to protect its people, assets, and operations

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) is continuing onshore operations and actively managing offshore productions levels despite ongoing escalations in the region, the company said.

The energy giant said that its careful management of offshore production levels will enable it to continue normal operations without prolonged delay. Adnoc has also activated its well-established protocols and is working closely with relevant authorities to protect its people, assets, and operations, it added.
Adnoc said that its business units are assessing the situation “product-by-product” and “transaction-by-transaction” as a result of the disruption in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that it continues to export capacity that bypasses the Strait and its international storage facilities to make sure supply flows to global markets.

Since February 28, Iran has engaged in what it calls “retaliatory attacks” on US bases and assets in the Gulf, after a US-Israel joint strike hit the West Asian capital, killing its supreme leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei.
Since then, Iran has targeted all six GCC states, hitting both military assets and civilian infrastructure. It has also caused a major disruption to shipping lines running through the Strait of Hormuz, a 33km waterway between Iran and Oman that is the world’s most important oil chokepoint.
Iran’s military said that it did not close the Strait, but will target any ship that belongs to the US or Israel, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.
“Adnoc’s sales and trading teams are proactively engaging with affected customers where shipment schedules may be impacted, and will continue to communicate the latest available information directly with them,” it said.
