Building on its tremendous success over the past years, the 2004 edition to be held in the capital from October 10 to 13 will feature 11 national pavilions including debut pavilions from five countries.

Describing ADIPEC as an outstanding platform, Juergen Steltzer, German Ambassador to the UAE said: "The close ties between the two countries have received a further boost recently through a series of high ranking government visits. The German industry has premium technology to offer for the development of refinery and industrial capacity in the UAE and the Gulf."

He said that ADIPEC was an outstanding platform to put these capabilities on display and monitor the regional market and a pavilion at ADIPEC will represent Germany.

Over the years ADIPEC has grown into a world-class oil and gas exhibition. It is only natural that the UK with its own oil and gas background would want to be fully involved with ADIPEC. We are proud of the fact that we have not only had a major stand at ADIPEC over the years, but that there are also a large number of UK and UK-related companies who have their own stands reflecting the long standing commitment that UK Plc. has to Abu Dhabi and the UAE", said John Gardner Head of UK Trade and Investment, British Embassy, UAE.
