ADDCI, BUiD sign MoU

ABU DHABI — The UAE Academy and the British University in Dubai (BUiD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide professional development programmes research and consultancy services to British standards in Abu Dhabi through the UAE Academy.

The MoU Agreement was signed by Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and David Lock, Registrar and Acting Chief Executive Officer of BUiD at a ceremony at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI).

The agreement will enable both organisations to attempt to engage businesses throughout the region into industry-led research and human resource development programmes, in order to ensure sustainable economic development in the country.

According to experts at the signing ceremony, industry-supported research and human resource development will boost creativity and ensure that companies stay competitive.
