While the dream of harnessing nuclear fusion as a primary source of clean energy may still be decades away, international collaborations are actively working to accelerate this timeline
The new 'XXL ACE' store is one of the biggest in the world covering 100,000 square feet —four times bigger than the existing ACE store on Shaikh Zayed road and will provide customers with more than 20,000 items to choose from. ACE currently operates six stores in the UAE.
A chain cutting ceremony marked the opening of doors to the public. Present at the function were Jim McCallum, Group Director Retail, Al-Futtaim Group and Dave Myer, Senior Vice President, ACE International.
The new store offers for the first time in the Middle East the ACE Rental Place that is exclusive to this store, where customers can rent items according to their requirements instead of having to purchase them - or can even try them out before deciding on the purchase.
In addition to the new ACE Rental Place, the new store will also feature the ACE Garden Center, which will consist of the widest range of garden furniture, garden tools, power tools and decorating products in the UAE. On hand at the Garden section will be a garden design service that will assist customers in creating their ideal garden.
The new XXL store also features an increased home wares collection with over 5,800 new items.
