In his new role, Chawla will be responsible for 3i Infotech’s business operations across significant markets which account for around 40 per cent of the company’s global revenue.
Chawla brings with him over 16 years of extensive experience, having managed a wide range of Information Technology businesses in leading organizations like General Electric, Satyam Computers and LogicaCMG. Prior to joining 3i Infotech, he served as the managing director of LogicaCMG for the South Asian region.
“I am delighted to be given greater responsibility and new challenges. My new role will include driving the operations across many of the world’s emerging and high growth markets, and taking 3i Infotech to greater heights in these markets,” said Chawla.
“This consolidation will bring significant benefits to the Middle East region by pooling in our experiences and best practices across these high growth emerging markets of Asia. In doing so we, at 3i Infotech, look forward to enhancing the competitive advantage of our customers”, he added.
