200 New Outlets Opened in Dubai Mall

DUBAI - The Dubai Mall, the city’s newest shopping and entertainment destination, has added over 200 new retail outlets, marking an increase in the number of stores by over 30 per cent since its opening. The mall will have a total of 1,200 retail outlets, the others to open their stores in the coming weeks.

Yousif Al Ali, General Manager of The Dubai Mall, said, “In just three months of opening, The Dubai Mall has become one of the most-visited retail and entertainment destinations in the region, with a steady foot-fall. The variety of retail outlets in the mall is a strong draw for our visitors, and we are committed to bringing in new shopping experiences to the region. This is reflected in the mix of brands, several of them opening their flagship stores in the mall.”

Of the new stores that have recently opened in the mall, several retailers are opening their first store in the region or opening flagship outlets. Several new food & beverage outlets have also opened in the food courts of the mall, offering visitors a diverse platter of choices.

The flagship stores that have recently opened in the mall include Mothercare, their biggest store in the region and Harmon Kardon.

Other newly opened outlets include S*uce, Carolina Herrara, Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Zadig & Zoltaire, M Missoni, Temperley and Agent Provocateur as the fashion offerings; Sephora, Franck Provost, Jo Malone, Penhaligon’s, Dermalogica, The Nail Spa and N Style in the beauty segment; Premanan, Bubbles & Giggles and Mama’s & Papa’s in children’s fashion; Bose, Jacky’s and Samsung in electronics; New Look and Forever 21 offering high street choices; and Tiffany & Co., Cartier, and Graff in the jewellery section.

Among the new food and beverage outlets are California Pizza Kitchen, Cacao Sampaka, Vapiano, Haagen-Dazs café, and Morelli’s Gelato located at the waterfront promenade; FatBurger located at the Café Court on the lower ground floor; and Uno Chicago Grill, Ruby Tuesday, Roadster Diner and Cosi — all in The Grove, the specialised indoor-outdoor retail and leisure component of the mall with a retractable roof, situated next to The Waterfall.

The Dubai Mall will shortly open the Fashion Avenue, a dedicated haute couture precinct with 70 signature stores — KidZania, an 80,000 sq ft innovative children’s ‘edu-tainment’ concept; SEGA Republic, a 76,000 sq ft high adrenaline indoor theme park; and a 22-screen cineplex, the largest in Dubai.

The Dubai Mall, a flagship shopping mall development of Emaar Malls Group, and is located in Downtown Burj Dubai, a mixed-use neighbourhood described as the new heart of the city.
