IBPC: Strengthening Indian businesses in the UAE

IBPC provides opportunities for Indian businessmen to interact and network within a congenial environment

Established in 2003, IBPC Dubai is the oldest and largest organisation of Indian businessmen and professionals. This knowledge-sharing and networking platform is the sole Indian business council recognised and regulated by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI/Dubai Chamber). IBPC Dubai has formed eight Focus Groups and four Forums.

IBPC aspires to sustain as a vibrant catalyst; promoting economic co-operation including trade, investments and other economic and financial flows between the UAE and India as well as strengthen beneficial business relationships between UAE business entities and their Indian counterparts in the UAE and India across strategic sectors.

The membership base of over 800 individual and corporate members were formed in line with the various sectors, each termed as a Focus Group. The Focus Groups were constituted to reflect the priority sectors specified in Dubai's Strategic Plan 2021 as well as the economic sectors, which are FDI-friendly and other focus areas of the Government of India.

IBPC is pleased to associate under the Accounting, Audit & Advisory (AAA) Focus Group with Khaleej Times. CA Naveen Sharma is the Convener of the Accounting, Audit & Advisory (AAA) Focus Group of IBPC Dubai.

AAA Focus Group's core services to members include advocacy, technical support, training, networking and education. The group and its members work together with local and international bodies to represent the views and concerns of the accounting, auditing and advisory profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia and the general public.
