'Sairat' wins hearts in Dubai
Marathi film Sairat ran to packed houses during its three-day screening tenure in Dubai. This film has been winning hearts all across India. Sairat also gifted India its youngest superstar, 15-year-old Rinku Rajguru, who also won a National Award for this film. We saw the film without English subtitles in Dubai but we can safely say that there are no language barriers when an art form is true and pure. What comes from the heart reaches the heart, no wonder this passion project which was made in Rs5 crores, has already raked in Rs70 crores. We also witnessed people dancing in full force to one of the songs during the screening in Dubai.

Salman talks real sense
No doubt he is one the biggest superstars from Bollywood, but Salman Khan is not known to give intelligent talks. We were surprised when he recently described why two big movies should not release on the same day. The Rs100 crore specialist said that India has only 5,000 screens and around 2,000 theatres. "In a country of 125 crores, only 3.4 crores saw Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the most watched film ever. We are 20,000 theatres short. The day we have them, two big hero films can come together," Salman said. We agree with you totally, Salman.

Salman-Katrina back together?
Salman Khan's next film with Kabir Khan is tentatively titled Tubelight. This period drama is based on Indo-China border issues. The makers are yet to zero in on the leading lady but our industry source suggests that Katrina Kaif might land this coveted role. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are concentrating on Hollywood, whereas Kangana Ranaut doesn't want to work with the Khans for obvious reasons. Since Salman and director Kabir share an easy chemistry with Katrina, we hear that she will join the cast. This film is scheduled to release next year during Eid. Maybe Katrina's prayers are finally being answered.

Aishwarya-Randeep end 'awkwardness'
It was a pleasant surprise to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda happily posing together during the success bash of their film Sarbjit. It was rumoured that the two couldn't see eye to eye during the shooting and promotion of the movie. They avoided many events where they were required to share the same public platform. She did not attend the music concert of the film, he did not go to Cannes for the film's premiere. Let's just end this speculation by saying, all's well that ends well.

'Hera Pheri 3' with original star cast?
We have been constantly giving you updates on the mess that Dubai-filmed Hera Pheri 3 has been going through. We have good news for you. After Abhishek Bachchan's sudden walk out, we hear that the makers are planning to bring together the original cast of this cult classic. There are chances that Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty might join forces to come together for Hera Pheri 3. We are rooting for the comeback of the original star cast. Sorry, Abhishek Bachchan fans...

Troubles of an art house pin-up
This popular and talented art-house pin-up actress has been trying her best to break into the mainstream. She recently claimed that major chunks of her role were cut from the final edit of her recently released film. The director got furious and immediately issued a statement saying her scenes were exactly how he had narrated to the actress. No wonder during the success bash of this film, she made a blink-and-miss appearance much after the gathered media had left the venue.
