NBAD opens main branch in Dubai

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) inaugurated its main branch in Dubai with exclusive features, including an elite Lounge, and a Business Banking Centre.

Mohammed Al Murr, the speaker of Federal National Council (FNC); Sultan bin Rashed Al Dhaheri, NBAD’s board member; Saif Al Shehhi, senior general manager of the Domestic Banking Division; Abdulla Ghobash, NBAD’s regional manager; and senior executives of the bank inaugurated the new branch.

The branch is strategically located to cater to service busy commercial and residential districts in Deira area. It is staffed by best trained banking cadres under the leadership of Najla Abdulla Yousif; one of the UAE young banking professionals. “We are extremely thankful to Mohamed Al Murr to honour us and attended this opening,” said Shehhi.

The newest NBAD branch employs the futuristic and groundbreaking concepts that NBAD is deploying, which sport aesthetics in design to make branch visits more pleasant and convenient, and also segments service areas by consumer types to enhance the quality of service.

“The National Bank of Abu Dhabi has become the trend-setter in consumer banking by launching branches that personify the future of consumer banking,” Al Shehhi said.

Al Shehhi continued: “Because of the services banks provide, they play a central role in consumers’ lives. This is why it’s long overdue that branches adopted an environment embodying aesthetics, comfort, privacy and personality.”

The new branch, which bring NBAD’s total in the country to 122 branches, is designed with a stylish and futuristic façade and a coffee lounge to make branch banking convenient, pleasurable, exhilarating, and intimate for consumers. It also sports the most sophisticated information technology to ensure the most efficient banking.

The new branch provides a full range of services from deposits and loans to cards, investments, Elite Banking services and its Business Banking Centre exclusively serves small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
