Under the terms of the MoU, the GCAA is committed to working with Mubadala Aerospace to ensure that all of its group companies meet the required regulations and attain the necessary certifications to guarantee the highest standards of international safety and airworthiness.

The Steering Committee, which will meet regularly, will also develop an annual report looking at the achievements and areas where the regional aviation and aerospace industries can improve and work more collaboratively.

The signing of this MoU demonstrates the GCAA’s support for the emerging aerospace industry in the UAE as Mubadala Aerospace seeks to establish a world class, sustainable aviation and aerospace industry in Abu Dhabi, anchored by the future aerospace cluster that will be located in Al Ain. business@khaleejtimes.com
