'Airshow strengthens UAE’s economic position'
ABU DHABI - Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Chairman of the National Media Council has hailed the position of the Dubai Airshow describing it as one among the three major aviation exhibitions in the world.
In a statement given to the ‘Nation Shield’ (Dira-alWatan) magazine published by the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Hamdan, who is also the Chairman of the Higher Committee for UAE Civil Seaports and Airports Security noted that the new edition of the Dubai Airshow ( 13 to 17 November ) will feature the display of the latest civil and military aircrafts and will attract groups of decision makers, experts, industrialists and officials from all over the world.
He stressed that the success of this international exhibition is a continuation of UAE’s march of success in the shade of the increasing growth and continuous development followed by the country under the wise leadership of The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the penetrating vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The statement also shed light on the importance of the Dubai Airshow on the global level and the role it will play in the growth of the aviation sector as well as the economic development in the region.
