Dr. Hamid Haqparwar
Dr. Hamid Haqparwar is the CEO of AGMC, the official importer for BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and BMW Motorrad in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, and as Managing Director of Albatha Automotive Group, one of the most prominent automotive conglomerates in the Gulf region.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Dr. Haqparwar is an active contributor to the business community as a Board Member of the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), supporting trade and economic collaboration between Germany and the UAE. He also shares his expertise with the next generation of leaders as a member of the Honorary Senate of UE (University of Europe for Applied Sciences) Dubai, promoting international education and innovation.
Dr. Haqparwar began his career with the BMW Group in 2005, where he held several senior roles, including Managing Director for the Middle East, and Director of Sales and Marketing in both India and the Middle East. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, an MBA from Western Carolina University, and a PhD from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Recognized for his contributions to the automotive industry, Dr. Haqparwar has been continuously listed among Forbes Middle East’s Top 50 Regional Executives Heading International Companies and Arabian Business’s “40 Under 40”. Dr. Haqparwar is known for his visionary leadership, passion for innovation, and strong commitment to excellence in business, sustainability, and mobility.
