India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished Pakistan PM Imran Khan a 'speedy recovery' after the latter tested positive for coronavirus Covid-19 on Saturday.
Wishes have been pouring in for the cricket legend turned politician after Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, reported today that the premier has contracted the virus.
Khan is "self isolating at home," said minister Faisal Sultan in a tweet, without giving further details as to whether other people who have been in contact with Khan would also be isolating.
Taking to Twitter, Modi said: 'Best wishes to Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI for a speedy recovery from COVID-19.'
