Zayed University, ADNB join hands for Emiratisation

ABU DHABI — A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday by Dr Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice-President of Zayed University and Saif Ali Al Shehhi, Senior General Manager-Domestic Banking Division in the Abu Dhabi National Bank (ADNB).

According to this agreement, ADNB will provide instruction, job opportunities and professional interviews in accordance with the bank’s Emiratisation strategy, while Zayed University will provide the bank’s staff with opportunities to promote their scientific and professional qualifications. In addition, ADNB will sponsor a number of Zayed University activities, students’ development initiatives and award schemes.

During the signing ceremony, Dr Al Jassim assured that the UAE enhances the capabilities, ideas, and innovation of its graduates to participate in developing the labour market in all fields, face challenges and bear the responsibilities of the nation’s progress. He also praised the initiatives of ADNB in developing the efficiency of its employees by offering scholarships and raising the performance of its staff.

“The academic leadership is the first priority of the university’s goals and mission. Zayed University highly encourages its students and graduates to work in the private sector, especially banks, as they are a strong base for creativity, promotion and practical experience,” added Dr Al Jassim.
