Zayed special needs body is invitedto centres in Germany

ABU DHABI — Karin Everes Mayor, Member of German Parliament and head of Special Needs Affairs, has invited officials of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care of Special Needs (ZHOHC) to visit the German Government Centres for Special Needs (GGCSN).

Mayor was part of a German delegation which included Mischanel Heinrish, MP, and Siska Schteilar, Media and Culture Affairs Secretary. Mayor suggested a mutual cooperation between ZHOHCSN and the German Special Needs Centres (GSNC).

Mohamed Fadel Al Hamili, ZHOHC Secretary-General, said that a delegation will be sent to Germany to study the working of German centres and get acquainted with their experiences and programmes. The delegation would seek information about modern devices and techniques being used their to assist people of special needs.

"We will gain more experience and information from this cooperation. Moreover, we will be able to cope with the latest developments in the field, and make good use of the special needs, abilities and potentials to guarantee them economic stability,” Al Hamili added.

People with special needs are very important, and they deserve permanent care and guidance for properly utilising their abilities, Suzan Kastanbir, MP, and Head of the German delegation, noted.

She also paid tribute to ZHOHC for its great efforts in rehabilitating people with special needs.

Mohammed Fadel Al Hamili and Mariam Saif Al Qubaisi, Director of Abu Dhabi Centre for Special Needs Care and Rehabilitation, received the German visitors during their visit.
