Zakat Fund donates Dh730,000 to support poor school kids in Al Ain
AL AIN — The Al Ain Education Zone (AAEZ) has received a donation of Dh730,000 from the Zakat Fund (ZF) to support poor students in schools in Al Ain.
Salim Al Kuthairy, the director of Al Ain Education Zone (AAEZ), said the donation would be distributed among 300 needy students from private and government schools in Al Ain city and other areas.
Jamal Khalaf Al Mazrouy, head of Resources and Media Administration at the ZF, said this was the second time AAEZ had received donations from ZF. “This reflects the strong ties between ZF and community organisations,” he said.
While thanking ZF for the support, Al Kuthairy said an MoU would be signed between AAEZ and ZF to further strengthen cooperation.
