Yas Marina Circuit launches online competition

In the lead up to the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi GP, Yas Marina Circuit has launched a competition aimed at families by giving away a free ‘Family Fun Day’ to online Facebook fans.

The Family Fun Day is a prize that consists of something each member of the family can appreciate and enjoy. While the husband races a Formula Yas 3000 race car through Yas Driving Academy, the wife will be royally pampered at the Yas Hotel Luxury Treatment Spa, and the children will be F1 drivers in the making at YMC’s Karting Experience.

After which the entire family will be treated to a feast at Yas Hotel’s Origins restaurant before heading off for an afternoon of thrills at the recently launched Ferrari World theme park.

“We want to help bring families together through the fascinating and stimulating world of motorsports by proving that no matter what age, gender, or interest you may have, Yas Island offers an extensive range of activities for everyone. “ said YMC Chief Executive Officer, Richard Cregan.

All online users who have signed up to be a fan on the Official Yas Marina Circuit Facebook page (facebook.com/yasmarinacircuit) and visit the page between 8^th-21^stNovember, 2010, have the chance to win by posting in 25 words or less about why their family deserves the Family Fun Day. The prize will go to the most creative answer, judged by the team at YMC.
