Starting at 9pm, the show will continue for three and a half hours offering non-stop entertainment for the audience. Vinod Rathod who has a large number of hit songs to his credit from Deewana to Devdas will set the tune for the programme with his live performance supported by Sujata Majumdar, another playback singer.
The stage will come alive with sizzling preformances by Urmila Matondkar, one of Bollywood's top actresses along with Meghna Naidu of Kaliyon ka chaman fame, Shefali Zariwala and Malaika Aurora. The dance performances will be choreographed by Pappu and Malu, the choreographers for Devdas. The entire show will be spiced up by some lively compering by Raviraj and Malaika Aurora.
Speaking at a Press conference yesterday, Syed Dastagir, chairman and producer of SMS P & Entertainments, the organisers of the show said that it promises to be a major crowd-puller with a large turnout of Bollywood stars. The tickets are priced at Dh500, Dh250, Dh175 and Dh125 and are available at Pak Gazi Restaurants in Dubai and Sharjah, Sind Punjab restaurants in Karama and Bur Dubai and Little Hut Restaurant in Karama. The event is being sponsored by ARY Digital, Chicken Cottage, Shoe Mart, Lipton Tea, Khaleej Times, 106.2 Hum FM, Urdu Express, Gulf Technical and Printing, Air India and Emirates Neon. The programme is being organised by Citynet.
