The workshop will feature a lecture to be delivered by Bernadette Holden, Director of the International Bureau of Education at the Ministry of Education in Netherlands.

During the workshop, experts, specialists, and parents in the United Arab Emirates will observe the most recent technologies and techniques used to upgrade services for children with special needs, Maryam Othman, Director of the centre, said.

"The workshop will highlight some advanced educational strategies used worldwide, so that specialists in the country would be at pace with the international standards," she explained, noting that the workshop, organised by the centre on annual basis, is aimed at developing the skills of those who are engaged in educating children with special needs.

The lecturer will explain how to deal with various kinds of disabilities, and will observe the educational programmes of the centre.
