Workshop for doctors
SHARJAH — Friends of Cancer Patients, a charity organisation, hosted a training workshop for 120 doctors and nurses of the National Breast Cancer Committee, titled ‘How to implement early cancer detection programme’.
The workshop was organised by the Mother and Child Health Centre in Sharjah in collaboration with the Central Department of Maternal and Child Health, Abu Dhabi at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah on Saturday.
Those present at the inaugural ceremony included Dr Hajar El Hosany, Director of The Central MCH Abu Dhabi, Dr Hessa El Gazaal, Director of The MCH Sharjah, Sawsan Jafar, President, Board of Trustees, and Dr Sawsan Al Madi, Office Manager of ‘Friends of Cancer Patients. The workshop was aimed at training and providing doctors and nurses with the skills to equip women with proper knowledge for self-examination.
