Sandeep Singh fell from a height of about 30 metres and suffered serious injuries on the head, neck and spinal fractures and internal bleeding, hospital sources said. He died an hour after he was brought to the hospital.

A source at the hospital said the team of doctors tried their best to save the life of the worker but they could not as the internal bleeding had led to multiple organ failure.

The police said the case has been transferred to Al Buhairah police station for follow-up action and investigation. This is the third accident in the same area of the airport. The accident happened due to the unsafe ways of carrying out the airport expansion and improvement projects, a police source said.
