The construction of the first four buildings that make up the DHCC is going hand in hand with the laying of the basic infrastructure and the roads network.

“To ensure that the project stays on course and on schedule, we insisted on strict adherence to deadlines from our contractors and consultants. For example, the contractors who are working on the four blocks of buildings, part of phase one, were given 12 months to complete the task.

“Approximately 67 per cent of the time has elapsed since work has started and judging by the progress of work, we are confident that the buildings will be ready by the 25th of December,” Al Muntafiq said.

“We have a mission to fulfill and we are eagerly awaiting the completion of the construction work so we can get on with creating what we have set out to achieve, to make available to the people of our region and beyond the best in medical treatment and health care delivery,” he said.
