‘Women as Global Leaders Conference’ next month in capital

ABU DHABI — Zayed University yesterday announced that its biannual “Women as Global Leaders Conference” will be held at Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah on March 10-12.

Some 2,000 delegates from 85 countries, representing both government and private sectors, are expected to participate in the three-day event.

To be held under the patronage of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, president of Family Development Foundation, the conference will be inaugurated by Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and president of Zayed University.

Dr Suleiman Al Jassim, vice-president of Zayed University, said the conference aimed at “creating educational, cultural and social bridges between the Zayed University students and others from different universities all over the world”.
