The court will decide whether prosecutors should question Arnold on the charge of disposing and hiding Winter’s body.

Advocate Hussain Al Jaziri, who represents Winter’s brother Kurt Winter, has taken the request for a fresh probe to Dubai Court of Appeal after Public Prosecution turned down their original application.

Al Jaziri said Winter’s family wants to know the whereabouts of her body so that they can give her a decent burial. “Although the Cassation Court confirmed a life sentence followed by deportation against Arnold, he has not been impeached for hiding Kerry’s body,” said Al Jaziri. “The family and friends of Winter have appealed to prosecutors to reinvestigate the case and carry out a fingertip search to find out where her remains were hidden by her killer and ex-lover Mark Arnold who has lost all his appeals. So now we want the police and prosecution to reinvestigate where her body is. We can’t go on like this, there’s no closure.”

Al Jaziri said Arnold still claims that he is innocent, despite the fact that he lost all appeals against his conviction.

Arnold, 42, is serving 25 years for Kerry’s murder which happened in August 2008. He beat her with a baseball bat on the steps of her Al Barsha home during an argument and dumped the body.
