Winners of Dubai govt award to be honoured on Monday
DUBAI — Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, a ceremony will be held on Monday to honour winners of this year's edition of Dubai Government Excellence Programme Award.
The number of nominations this year is hitting a record high reflecting high performance levels at various governmental departments.
Categories of the prestigious award cover several areas of excellent performance in administrative work, field work, finance, technical and technological projects, engineering and others.
The programme, which is aimed at improving the efficiency of the services and practices of government departments in Dubai, presents monetary and other prizes to government departments and to the human resources in the government sector, in accordance with pre-defined criteria and provides numerous and varied initiatives for developing the performance of government departments.
