'Week-long peace drive launched'
DUBAI — Responding to the escalating war in Lebanon, peace activist Glenn Perry has organised a week-long peace campaign emphasising the need to restore peace.
Perry's peace campaign, which started on August 9 with a peace concert at the Sahara Centre in Sharjah, will end on August 15 with a Music for Peace concert at the Mazaya Centre in Dubai.
"War does not solve anything. War creates monsters and bigger wars. Conflicts and differences should be resloved through dialogue and through peaceful ways" says Perry.
