Registration for the competition opened yesterday and will run till June 24. The contest is open to all children in the UAE aged between eight to 18 whether citizens, residents, or visitors.
“Interested children may join by filling in the registration forms available on the web site www.emodhesh.ae. They will then receive a confirmation e-mail with link to the web site URL and details of accessing the site. Registration will be completed by calling Ahlan Dubai on 00971-600545555,” said Rehab Lootah, Head of the e-Government Committee.
“Registered children will be split into two groups, the first one will be designing a web site for the first five surprises of DSS including the Flower Surprises, Sweets Surprises, Arts Surprises, Colour Surprises and Ice Surprises and the second group will work on the rest of the surprises like the Adventure Surprises, Cartoon Surprises, Heritage Surprises, Knowledge Surprises and the Back-2-School Surprises. The created web site should contain a minimum of three pages. The limitation of the web site size is 20 MB and it can be created either in Arabic or English,” she added.
