ABU DHABI — The 15 UAE national students who were evacuated from areas exposed to wildfire that broke out in south California, US, are all safe and sound, they have confirmed.
Speaking to this reporter over the phone from their new residence at one of the hotels in Seattle, the students, most of whom are studying business management, said they were perfectly okay.
“It’s good that we left San Diego where we were exposed to heavy smoke and pollution resulting from the fires. We are all fine,” said Abdullah Al Nuaimi, a third year student of business administration. “The UAE Embassy brought us to the hotel here and paid all the expenses,” he added.
