The national procession of Qasr Al Hosn festival was graced by Vice President, Crown Princes, number of other Shaikhs, citizens and tribal dignitaries on Thursday afternoon.
ABU DHABI — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Thursday afternoon graced the national procession, which started from Qasr Al Manhal to Qasr Al Hosn to mark the 250th anniversary of building of Qasr Al Hosn by the late Shaikh Dhyiab bin Eisa Al Nahyan.
The procession, which symbolised the journey of Al Nahyan family from Liwa in the Western Region to Abu Dhabi, was also attended by a number of other Shaikhs, citizens and tribal dignitaries.
At the celebration centre at Qasr Al Hosn, the Vice President and the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince performed the traditional dances amid presence of huge crowd.
