As per the court records, the defendant had arrived at Dubai International Airport on January 20 with 73 heroin capsules weighing 670 grammes concealed in his stomach.

Police inspector N.M. told the court that he was on duty at the airport on January 20.

He frisked M.M. and searched his bags.

“As his behaviour raised suspicion, we made him undergo scanning which revealed the capsules in his stomach. “We then called the anti-narcotics unit,” the witness said. The next hearing is scheduled for April 15.
