The clinic that serves over 2,000 customers a day will no longer provide the service as an agreement authorising it to offer the service expires on December 31, 2010. The service is being transfered from the municipal clinic following a Cabinet decision in this regard.
DHA officials on Tuesday urged expatriates to avail the service from 14 medical fitness centres run by the authority. They said two more centres will be launched in January. Another facility providing the service is Al Baraha Hospital under the MoH.
The DM Clinic will retain occupational health services for food handlers, salon workers, nursery staff, etc, and offer regular medical services for DM employees and families.
