This indicates the efficiency of the section in combating drug trafficking and drug smuggling crimes. This success also comes in line with the efforts made by the ministry in order to upgrade its policies and plans that aim at fighting drugs and upgrading the performance of the agencies concerned.” The minister thanked Major-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, for his major role and direct supervision of the operation which led to the foiling of the attempt.
