It was an embarrassing moment for BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav, who was surveying flood-hit rural Patna, and fell into a river while posing for pictures on a makeshift boat.
On Wednesday night, the MP from Bihar's Pataliputra constituency was atop a raft made of wooden planks and tyres which capsized after a group of people stood on it for pictures. Yadav fell into the river water along with others who stood over the makeshift boat.

The incident was captured on camera and shows Yadav crossing the Dardha river on the makeshift raft as no boats were available, Times of India reported.
Locals standing on the banks of the river jumped into rescue the BJP MP and pulled him out of the water. He remained unconscious for a few seconds while locals fanned him to help him recover.
