UoS intake for academic year 2007-08 approved
SHARJAH — His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, approved the intake of the new students of the University of Sharjah (UoS) for the academic year 2007-2008.
The number of students graduated in all faculties reached 2,530 students, including 159 from the College of Medicine, 148 from the College of Dentistry and 861 students from the community college.
In the 22nd meeting of the board of trustees held in London in the last week of last July, Dr Shaikh Sultan, said, “ Higher education in the UAE can now compete with all internationally acknowledged universities.”
